Comme des Garcons was established in 1973 by Rei Kawakubo in Tokyo. Since her first Paris show in 1981, Comme des Garcons has become internationally recognized as one of the forerunners of fashion and design.

Comme des Garcons' perfumes play an integral part in the expression of the sense of values of the company, as much as its clothes, furniture, shop designs, graphics, and images.

Comme des Garcons 2 plays with light and shadow, mirror and brilliance, reflection and opacity. The shadow is inspired by Japanese calligraphy (sumi)ink. The light is found in the new aldehydes - fresh notes of orange and mandarin. The perfume comes in a silver reflecting bottle and is presented in a deep brown box
